BBQs and Frustration

Well, today was fun. The response and explanation of that sentence all depend on ones definition of 'fun'.

First thing, I was woken by my dad leaving at 6:30am to go to a car boot sale with his friend, Tim. In the morning, I was going to go running with my mum. Instead she said we would go in the evening, and I was okay with that. Then, after breakfast, we were going to go for the long anticipated bike-ride.

However, when we retrieved them, every bike had a flat tire except mine. We managed to pump Rosie's tire up, but we couldn't manage to do mums. Instead, Rosie and I rode our bikes, and mum walked with the dogs. It was fun, until I was chased halfway up a hill by a huge Labrador.

When we got home, mum said she needed to go shopping, and suggested I came. I agreed, unaware that Rosie was coming. She didn't shut up, and when I tried to listen to music, yelled at me. She then proceeded to yell at mum for listening to the Harry Potter audio book. I told her to read the book, if she was worried that she'd missed vital information. Her response was a thump on the shoulder.

It turned out that mum wanted to go to one of our rental houses because she had to meet someone there. We waited for half an hour, and they didn't turn up. We then left, and went shopping, with mum's assurance that she'd only be in the Super-Store for 'five minutes'. We came in with her, and two hours later, we left with a lot of things we didn't actually need.

For diner, we drove to the beach, and had a BBQ on the pebbles. My grandma came, which was okay, except when the tide came in. She kept getting scared that we were going to get cut off, when actually we had loads of room left. That was fun, until I wanted to take some photos with Rosie's camera, and she proceeded to shoot the exact same things that I had wanted to. When we got home, she pushed me out of the car, making me fall in the dirt, and twist my ankle. Instead of helping me up, my dad scolded me for getting his jumper dirty.

Yes, I would say today was 'fun'.

An Hour...

...Until I have to get in the car and drive for half an hour to get back to school to do my final performance of 'You're A Good Man Charlie Brown'. It should be fun, despite the fact I'm practically passing out from lack of sleep. The good thing is that I have Monday and Tuesday of next week off, even though I have to go in on Tuesday for Spring Fling.

Today wasn't really a bad day. I missed the first four periods of the day because of our play performance, and then there was lunch. Before that, the cast walked around the school, and took pictures in our costumes for the pro-grammes. The only class I actually had was Social Studies, which sucks. After that, I had to read my speech in front of the Junior School. I think it went well, but I doubt I won.

Tired & Bored.

Usually, computer class is fun, and I'm not saying that this one wasn't. I basically sat here the whole time, editing my blog and Tweeting. I'm so cool. This is last period class, and after this, I have study, and then TaeKwonDo, which I can't actually go to. I've missed so much class because of play, I have to run around collecting notes from different teachers. My coach is so mad at me; it's unreal.

Angst, Angst, Angst.

Well, I'm pissed off. I'm really stressed at the moment, partly because I have exams in less than two weeks, and because I have another musical tomorrow. Also, my mother keeps putting me down, and when asked why she is doing this, replies 'It's my job.' This only infuriates me more, and then I shout at her, thus getting myself grounded.

I've also got the worst case of writer's block in the history of all writer's block. I sat outside for TWO hours with my notebook, and I wrote down a paragraph. That whas got to be the most unproductive two hours of my life..

Back from Quebec

I came back from my trip to Quebec yesterday. It was amazing! We did so much in five days, and now I'm unbelievably tired. Honestly, you'd think because of my state, I would WANT to sleep, but I actually didn't. I'm becoming SUCH an insomniac.

The first day was all driving. It took us fourteen hours to get up there, but it wasn't so bad. We watched Sherlock Holmes, which was awesome. On the way back, we watched Austin Powers, a bit of New Moon, Avatar and A Series Of unfortunate Events. The way back was even better, because it was split over two days.

While we were in Quebec, we went to Circus School, the aquarium, The Plains of Abraham and lots of other places. I actually can't think of any just now. I feel as though I might pass out...
